Job Summary

Typically manages professional employees who are responsible for forecasting, financial modeling, and/or commission calculations. If Vice President level, match to Sales Operations Executive (S1807).Using knowledge of company products, services, support and technology, oversees sales operations activities to achieve company goals. Maintains relationship with field personnel to ensure timely, accurate, and prompt forecast submissions. Works with Sales and Finance Departments to develop and administer the company’s worldwide sales forecast. Responsible for organizing financial modeling and statistical studies for sales department.

Job Requirements

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Experience in developing programs and processes that directly create customer satisfaction and loyalty.- Solid understanding of engineering/technical, financial, sales, and marketing processes and objectives, as related to product sales and support.- A clear understanding of the product development cycle, technical requirements and project management.- A strong understanding of concepts related to computer architecture through implementation.- Experience with developing budgets and predicting project costs.- A demonstrated ability to manage professional level employees.Management and Interaction:Management: - This position is responsible for managing many tasks within a large group or department.- The focus of this role is on business and its implication.- The potential impact of decisions made by this individual will be mostly operational with some financial.- This individual will apply attained experience and knowledge to address issues that are diverse in scope, and resolve problems through short- and mid-term planning.Interaction: - This individual must work effectively with Staff to Vice President level employees and employees within and outside of their department and function. - Utilizes people skills and available manager tools to positively impact the development of subordinates within their role and career.- This individual must demonstrate favorable results through providing leadership to function and to staff.

Education

BS/BA degree or equivalent related experience. 8+ years -- plus add additional experience requirements needed if you were to fill an open requisition, i.e., knowledge, skills, and abilities.
