Job Summary

As an Inside Sales Representative for NetApp’s Cloud Data Services, you are responsible for driving sales success within the transformative Cloud portfolio of products. You will utilize your sales skills by building strong relationships with customers over the phone and online, working with directly with customer and partners to match NetApp solutions to fit project needs, and keeping customers current on the new product and service offerings.

Essential Functions:
•    Work virtually - over the telephone, email, through online/digital/social channels – to sell NetApp Cloud solutions
•    Be the first point of contact for all Cloud solution inquiries 
•    Hunt for new opportunities and expand within existing accounts via outbound tactics to increase the market footprint for our revolutionary cloud products 
•    Engage and enable partners to sell collaboratively in accounts
•    Responsible for end to end sales cycle including: 
o    New product introduction
o    Demoing all of the cloud products to customers
o    Walking through Renewal options
o    Creating outbound campaigns to increase market footprint for NetApp’s Cloud products
o    Creating quotes
o    Working closely with the channel

Responsibility and Interaction:

Responsibility:
•    Manage customer relationships and sales cycles in assigned territory 
•    Sell NetApp’s cloud portfolio products into new accounts and existing customers 
•    Focus on accounts in NetApp’s Commercial GTM segment 
•    Collaborate with Channel 
•    Day to day will involve prospecting into new and existing clients and performing web demonstrations, preparing quotes and closing the deal.

Interactions:
•    This individual works effectively with internal cross-functional teams and externally with customers and partners
•    General direction is provided to them by their manager on routine work; detailed direction is provided on new projects and assignments as well as on-going review of activities and priorities
•    The ideal candidate contributes proactively to sales team efforts and positively influences decisions of the team.
 

Education

Education
    *University degree required
    *At least 2 years of Software/SaaS/Cloud sales experience in the IT domain
