Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:


  • Programming in Go (or other system-level languages)
  • Programming in Python (or other high-level languages)
  • Experience in SaaS application development
  • Agile software development practices 
  • Linux or other Unix-like Operating Systems
  • REST API design, implementation and testing
  • Good understanding of Kubernetes on cloud platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence, big picture thinking and best practices
  • Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical people alike
  • Experience in test driven development practices
  • Experience developing cloud software services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance, and reliability
  • Experience with ONTAP, CVS or other NetApp products or cloud native storage platforms and developing applications for data management a plus but not a requirement
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
