Job Summary
As a Cloud Performance Intern you would participate in performance characterization for NetApp’s Cloud Volumes ONTAP product line. This position requires an individual to be creative, team-oriented, technology savvy, and driven to produce results.

Job Responsibilities
• Support new product development via development, execution, characterization, and documentation of storage performance benchmarks and their results
• Coding opportunities to enhance our toolset for obtaining and analyzing performance data
Job Requirements
Experience with multiple programming languages is a benefit but there is also room to improve your skills. Our intern work differs depending on the team and project work but some potential areas of focus and skill sets are:
Required Skills:
• Python, c++, c, plotly, pandas, numpy
• automation, scripting
• performance analysis, performance improvement, code optimization
• enterprise storage, operating systems, file systems and/or networking
Preferred Skills:
• statistics, graduate statistics, queuing theory, probability theory
• kernel, kernel programming, kernel dev, linux kernel

Other helpful skillsets:
• Proven aptitude for learning new technologies
• Creative and analytical approach problem solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication is necessary for success
• Ability to work on a diverse team, with a diverse range of people and a diverse array of products
Experience
• Must be enrolled in an educational or professional program through summer 2025 or later.
• Preference to Master & PhD Programs in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Preference for candidates that desire to hold the position for at least a year or longer, working part time during the year and full time during the summer
