Job Summary
As a Senior Financial Analyst supporting the Customer Support organization, you will play an essential role in providing financial analysis and guidance to NetApp Customer Support leadership. You will be responsible for collaborating with the business on key financial decisions, annual budgeting and investment requests, monthly forecasts, headcount & expense tracking and periodic business reviews. You will also lead business partner support with the Support Portfolio team.
Essential Functions:
• Provide Business Partnership, Decision Support and Fiduciary guidance
• Prepare and drive operational and financial metrics in support of key decision making
• Participate in projects related to financial systems or business processes
• Gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts
• Work with cross-functional groups to provide financial support including:
o Forecasting
o Budgeting
o Variance analysis
o Cost analysis
o Support product introduction, pricing, product lifecycle changes.
o Management Reporting
o Organization and Cost Center Structure
• Participate in Close Cycle – prepare and post JEs for areas of responsibility
• Integrate financial processes and operations of the business
Job Requirements
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills, ability to create financial models using Excel or other analytical tools and to translate data into meaningful analyses.
• Highly analytical and detail oriented
• Ability to work effectively with Staff to VP level employees within finance and across functions.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple, simultaneous assignments in a fast-paced environment
• Highly motivated, organized individual who can work effectively with minimal supervision and direction, as this individual can operate and drive results and set priorities independently.
• Working knowledge of planning tool, Hyperion and SmartView a plus
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Financial Modeling; database skills a plus
Education
• A minimum of 8 years of experience is required with at least 5 years of similar experience to role preferred.
• A University Degree or equivalent experience is required.
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is $127,245-$164,670. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package.
