Job Summary

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide financial support including budgeting, planning, and reporting to the Cloud Data Services Business Unit (CDS BU). 

 

CDSBU delivers a portfolio of offerings that helps customers harness the power of public and multi-cloud solutions, enabling modern data management applications and services. Cloud Data Services also delivers engineering shared infrastructure services to all business units.

 

The role is based on strong business partnering with the CDS leadership team and business ops team to manage the business and help accelerate the growth of all cloud products.

 

 

 

Job Requirements

CDSBU is a dynamic, fast paced environment that also includes integrating several new company acquisitions into NetApp systems.  In addition to managing the monthly forecast for Opex, HC, Capex, this role will also help define, develop, and track business KPI’s.

Additional areas of competency include Financial modeling, R&D investment planning, data collection and analysis, reporting, decision making and the ability to work independently.

 

Experience

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

- Good interpersonal communication skills as needed to work successfully with staff and managers within and outside of function.

- Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and on cross functional teams.

- Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas. - Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.

- Ability to follow standard accounting and finance practices, and departmental procedures and processes.

- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

- The tasks this individual is responsible can be unstructured and the issues addressed are less defined, requiring new perspectives and creative approaches.

- This individual will apply experiences and knowledge in solving problems that are complex in scope.

- Demonstrate good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance, and proposing solutions.
