Job Summary

This role is responsible for incident operations, problem investigation, migration, management, and resolution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and address customer needs and react quickly to support and operations issues.  The Application Support group is a part of NetApp’s IT function and is responsible for a wide range of applications expertise.  As a part of a team, you will help to ensure that team objectives and operational goals are met.  

Job Requirements

  • Provide specific technology operations support during assigned shift.  Handle incident tickets, migrations, speak with end-users, work on problem tickets, and resolve critical operations issues rapidly and effectively.
  • Understanding of Sales Performance Management /Incentive Compensation Management
  • Understanding of applications like Callidus
  • Knowledge of SQL stored Procedures (PL/SQL, T-SQL), Relational database, SQL Server
  • High level understanding of Web Technologies (Java, J2ee, applications servers), DBMS, ETL and Reporting (Crystal reports, Business Objects)
  • Develop automation, introduce tools and framework to improve operational efficiency
  • Work with developers on enhancements that build quality into the development process
  • Troubleshoot operational issues, escalations and resolve issues promptly with solid collaboration and care for work priorities
  • Should possess strong analytical & problem solving skills. Efficient in verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure and efficiently handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Support all formal documentation of solutions, including requirements for product extensions, etc.
  • Reporting to customers and management on status, resources needs and projected outcomes

Education

  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree
