Job Summary

NetApp is expanding its Public Cloud Services with a joint effort alongside AWS and is looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join a highly dynamic and expanding sales team. The role includes direct sales efforts, co-sell efforts alongside AWS, digital and field sales, presenting to partners, distributors, clients, and resellers our NetApp/AWS product portfolio.

 

Skills

We are looking for an experienced quota-carrying sales leader, comfortable with technical discussions and negotiations, while multi-tasking across functional initiatives in a client-centric environment. Identifies and develops key account alliances and relationships designed to produce sales opportunities. Comfortable in a fast pace changing environment where you must work towards multiple goals to develop a successful book of business. Will need to be a self-motivated and proactive self-learner. The ideal candidate will be a high energy subject matter expert that proactively contributes to the sales team’s efforts.          

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full ownership of sales cycle start-to-finish across diverse territories in the US, Canada, and LATAM
  • Regular enablement and sync session with your respective AWS counterpart
  • Comfortable presenting technical product demos, and negotiations
  • Understand client needs vs NetApp portfolio. Value selling, not product pitching
  • Provide feedback to management team, product team, marketing team, and AWS
  • Achieve revenue goals by landing and expanding net new workloads
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce data entry for tracking and progressing deals

Job Requirements

Requirements:

 

  • Must have experience with B2B IT/Infrastructure/Cloud/SaaS sales
  • Tech Savvy – understanding of Cloud solutions/Storage/infrastructure
  • Experience working with AWS, or other major hyperscaler
  • Experience working with channel / resellers as a sell through model
  • Energetic team player who can also work independently under a global team
  • Spotless multi-tasker with high interpersonal skills and time management skills

 

Nice to have:

 

  • Familiarity with NetApp (from previous roles)
  • AWS certification
  • French or Spanish written, and oral skills
  • Enterprise sales experience

Education

  • 2+ years of successful track record in SaaS or Cloud sales roles, preferably in IT domain
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree; or related field is preferred
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical solutions and business value
