Job Summary

As a MDM Developer you are part of a team of professionals who plan, manage, deliver projects and provide support to meet defined deliverables, processes, tools, and support. As part of the MDM function you will work with business owners, data source application teams, Enterprise Business Analytics teams to ensure the successful implementation of NetApp's Master Data Management program. As a professional, you will need excellent technical, design, support skills in your toolset with the ability to understand how the technology works in the other areas of MDM.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Collaborate with Architects – MDM and Enterprise Architects to enhance MDM System to meet business needs
  • Design, develop, debug real-time integration services using Service Oriented Architecture, REST APIs, Data Quality Services, and Workflow solutions.
  • Partner with DBA’s and support teams in Transition, Support, Troubleshooting, Management Reports, Monitoring
  • Manage environments (schedule refreshes, env migrations, health check, backups, load)
  • Provide required support for regular releases including coordination of code moves from dev to test/QA to stage to prod instances, IT/Business validations, and participation in enterprise wide release meetings
  • Own all production incidents, triaging (Technical, Data, and Functional), assignment, and resolution.  Manage Informatica Data Quality tool related updates, patching of Oracle Applications (CDH)
  • Work closely with Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and other application (Oracle ERP, QuoteEdge(Oracle R12), SFDC, SAP etc.) teams to resolve cross functional/technical/data issues
  • Maintain SLA and OLA documents with Bus Ops and IT Ops. Warranty Support after go-live. Business Ops User Training for projects
  • Work with offshore team on support and development tasks
  • Assist in estimating Cost and Resource for enhancements and new projects
  • Perform Complex Data Analysis and Data Profiling

Job Requirements

  • Must possess extensive technical and functional expertise in Oracle CDH, Install Base, Products, Contacts, Data Quality, and Data Analysis involving complex integrations with internal and external applications
  • Strong business and cross functional partnership experience required, with proven track record of successfully driving cross functional initiatives, enhancements and support issues.
  • Must have in depth experience in Oracle Platform (PL/SQL, Java, Forms, Oracle APEX, Oracle OLS, middleware technologies), Node JS, MongoDb, REST APIs, Java Script, Python.
  • Ability to work with IT tech lead and solutions architects to lead the IT operations of a business critical application.  Must be familiar with support processes and procedures
  • Hands on experience in a Data Quality tool like Trillium, Informatica or Oracle Data Quality which should include creating projects, profiling data, tuning cleansing, standardization and matching rules
  • Ability to analyze complex cross functional issues and articulate them in clear and concise way
  • Ability to describe the available options and work collaboratively with cross functional teams to solve data/process issues
  • Familiar with version control and code movement across different SDLC environments
  • Good experience in triaging production issues and driving them to resolution
  • Lead the onsite and offshore teams to manage Master Data Management IT operations

Education

§    A minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience is required, including 5+ years solid relevant experience in leading development and management of business critical applications

§    A Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business, or related field is required
