Job Summary

The Senior Manager, IT leading the Finance product team will be responsible for the business partnership, road mapping, and delivery of technology services that will enable NetApp’s finance organization. The role will report to the IT Sr. Director, Finance.

In addition to serving as a key technology partner and advisor to the Finance organization, the role will also plan, transform, implement, and operate NetApp Finance applications. This role and supporting team will also analyze the needs of the Finance department, establish priorities, provide solution design and implementation of application requirements, and operate new and existing systems.

As a product manager, the person will have the following responsibilities:

  • Provide end-to-end IT ownership for the finance business capabilities.
  • Establish a meaningful rapport with business partners to manage priorities, risks, and issues.
  • Understand and speak intelligently on both business processes and technology.
  • Partner with business leadership, IT enterprise architecture, and delivery teams to establish and execute a roadmap to support the business capabilities, including suggestions for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage a global team of technology experts and provide leadership and coaching to the product team (product architects, business system analysts, and delivery resources).
  • Lead NetApp’s Oracle ERP cloud journey
  • Responsible for contributing to program goals, plans, and schedules
  • Ensure project execution and value realization for IT investments.
  • Collaborate with peer managers across geographies and share delivery responsibilities in a matrixed organization
  • Manage budgets and contracts for tools and applications used for the finance product
  • Report on key metrics covering licensing utilization, financials, delivery, quality, and support.
  • Support quarterly business reviews with business functions.

Job Requirements

  • Development and operations experience in a complex matrixed organization with multiple stakeholder teams is necessary
  • Brings a product management perspective and functions as a trusted business advisor, aligning Cloud ERP and bespoke application features as well as the roadmap required to enable capabilities that will help the Finance function achieve its goals and objectives
  • Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, Middleware, DevOps, API Management, and IT business models
  • Hands-on level understanding and experience in Finance Operations, Contract to Cash, including billing and revenue recognition platforms
  • Direct experience implementing Oracle ERP Cloud and integrating with other on-prem and SaaS Applications
  • Prior experience working at a hi-tech company supporting HW, SW, Services, and Subscription business models
  • Experience managing IT operating budgets and managing the Annual Operating Plans
  • Business domain background with a proven track record of partnering with the finance function
  • Ability to work with all levels within the NetApp organization
  • A proven track record of championing and managing multiple projects thru the initiation phases and all the IT and enterprise governance processes, Ability to balance business partner’s expectations and IT teams ability to deliver on the requirements.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills are required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills; able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.

Education

  • A minimum of 12 years of IT experience with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role
  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent is required
