Job Summary

Process sales orders in an accurate and timely manner using Oracle 11i and in full compliance with company policies. Take ownership and a customer-oriented approach for entering and monitoring various order types including direct customer, channel partner, and internal orders. Identify process and system improvements to enhance and support Order Management activities. Support and execute on global business processes and procedures while actively contributing to departmental initiatives and goals.

Essential Functions:
- Enter and troubleshoot sales orders in a complex configure-to-order environment including hardware, software and service, while adhering to company policies, including bookings policy, revenue recognition, cross regional business policies, Channel business procedures, etc.
- Demonstrate the ability to understand the relationship between various application and tools including Oracle ERP system, CRM system, and ServiceNow.
- Resolve discrepancies and order issues across departments quickly to meet target lead times.

- Participate in quality audit reviews to ensure SOX and booking policy compliance

- Support helpdesk requests via ticketing system or helpdesk phone

- Ability to validate contractual terms
 

Job Requirements

-Good written and verbal communication skills

Attention to accuracy and customer service orientation.

Must exhibit excellent time management and problem solving skills in a high change, fast paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail in completing order entry of customer orders.- Experience with process and systems improvements.

 

Education

- Minimum 1-2 years of related experience in order management/processing and associated applications, preferably with high tech companies

- An Associate of Arts or Technical Trade Degree, or related courses preferred

- Computer skills in the use of Microsoft Office products

- Ability to work cross-functinally in a global environment
