Job Summary

Payroll Accounting Specialist with solid understanding of payroll accounting and process procedures.  This position is responsible for addressing the payroll accounting/funding requirements each pay period.  Must have a good understanding of the ProBusiness Payroll system, R&R report writing and will assume the day to day template preparation for ADP.  Must be able to multi-task and have strong cross-functional relationships.  Must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage the payroll accounting functions that are moderately complex in nature where general accounting judgment is required in solving accounting issues and making recommendations for best practices. 

Job Requirements

-Support the COS ADP operations team preparing various payroll processing templates to provide accurate, timely, information for ADP to properly process payments for US and Canada employees.

-Process Payroll accounting functions which include bi-weekly preparation of payroll information for US & Canada and complete the funding for US & Canada payments each pay period.

-Reconcile Stock (ESPP), FSA, & 401(K) accounts each pay period for payroll report accuracy.

-Prepare R&R ad-hoc reports as needed for a variety of payroll projects, as needed.

-Resolve Tier 3 payroll research/resolution employee issues with ADP.

-Ensure compliance with Sox and other payroll policies and procedures.

Education & Experience

- Degree or equivilant expereince desired

-Requires 8 to 10 years payroll and or general accounting experience.

-Prefer large company experience with annual revenues of at least $1B
