We seek someone that is detail oriented and has a combination of strong data analytical and project management skills and the ability to work across functional teams and geographies. Expertise in Collecting and analyzing data from various internal systems, to produce reports and presentations to highlight progress or areas of concern to guide decision making, required.

In this role you are part of a team of professionals who plan, perform and implement projects, programs and process improvement initiatives within the Worldwide Professional Services space. Strong communication skills, along with strong command over business processes are key to success in this role.


The Worldwide Professional Services Portfolio & Innovation Team is responsible for providing the project leadership, strategic consulting, and process predictability required to obtain the maximum business value from NetApp’s portfolio of Professional Services projects and programs. We manage the planning and execution of NetApp’s Worldwide Professional Services highest priority programs and projects, organize and curate the master portfolio of work, and cultivate a high-performing culture through building trust and ownership.
 
A fresh perspective and a willingness to dig into problem areas is both encouraged and expected. The Portfolio & Innovation organization is staffed with individuals with a huge array of leadership experience both inside and outside of the technology sector, all of which are glued together by a shared desire to take part in solving difficult problems.

Job Requirements

•   Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined measurement criteria

•    Ability to work successfully with staff and managers within and outside of Worldwide Professional Services Portfolio & Innovation Team
•    Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and on cross functional teams.
•    Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas.
•    Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
•    Strong computer skills including PowerPoint.
•    Creative approach to problem solving.
•    Preferred experience in delivering projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies

 

Support efforts to develop and launch PS best practices while implementing risk mitigation as needed
•    Manage project to time, budget, quality and contracted deliverables 
•    Establish project definition and business tracking of professional service opportunities
•    Work with Services Sales to position technical/business solution with Customer
•    Scope new project opportunities, then architecture, design, and implementation of solutions
•    Identify, utilize and manage key resources required to meet project goals
•    Resource metrics reporting and responsibilities for project team utilization and project status updates
•    Drive project reviews for management and customers with the ability to present status reports, dashboards, and presentations to C-level stakeholders.

 

Education

Typically requires 8-12 years of Portfolio-related Business Analysis/Project Management experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or Advanced degree with a minimum of 6-8 years applicable experience; or equivalent combination of relevant education/certifications/training and applicable professional experience.

 

Clearly demonstrated background in managing multiple complex projects in a storage or related field

Clearly demonstrated background in Data Analysis

 

PMP preferred, but not required. Agile/Scrum methodology experience preferred, but not required.
