Job Summary

The position will be responsible for engaging with geographically spread cross-functional groups across NetApp to support/deliver strategic enterprise initiatives and quick win enhancements for Products and Services master data, including data standards, hierarchies, enrichments, governance, cleansing, data conversion, and data migration etc. This position is both strategic and tactical in nature.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•    Driving strategy for Enterprise Product Master and adoption working with cross-functional leaders
•    Work with business users on roadmap and priorities for Product Master Data
•    Participate Validate and approve data definitions as an integral part of projects/initiatives
•    Implement the Products and Services master data requirements across key end-to-end business processes across the NPI, Forecast-to-Supply , Quote-to-Cash (QTC), and Support and Services, Install Base workstreams
•    Work with Data Operations team to support the development, implementation, and utilization of Product master data quality measures and practices.
•    Work with Data Operations team in scoping activities for enhancements, reviewing integration testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) help to prep scenarios and data as needed for successful outcomes.
•    Collaborate with Business Process Owners and IT to ensure Customer master data standards align across end-to-end processes and within the IT ecosystem.
•    Acts as a change agent for the Enterprise Product Master Data at NetApp
•    Lead Product Data Governance Councils at a set cadence
•    Provide master data support to business & IT on initiatives/projects
•    Review NPI portfolio for Products and Services master data strategy. Coordinate with business process experts in key project activities and work with them to understand the business process steps and data flows in support of successful implementation and adoption by their business.
•    Extended Stakeholder Communications & status updates (New Initiatives; Changes; Impacts/Risks)
•    Collaborate with other Master Data Domain Stewards such as Install Base Master, Company/Contact Master

Job Requirements

  • Qualifications & Experience:
    •    8+ years of work experience in master product master data management role.
    •    Experience in Oracle Fusion (Product Data Hub) Cloud functional area, Agile PLM, Oracle ERP is critical
    •    Expertise related to the SaaS/Subscription/Cloud product portfolio, Supply Chain Item/Bill Of Materials is highly preferred
    •    Expertise in developing/modeling Product Master data attributes and hierarchies, Bill Of Materials
    •    Experience in master data governance and data management principles and concepts. Well versed in data governance best practices.
    •    Ability to think strategically while operating tactically to implement master data solutions
    •    Thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple project assignments
    •    ability to effectively execute tasks while under pressure and in ambiguous situations
    •    Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
    •    Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
    •    Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    •    Possesses strong organizational skills

Education & Special Trainings:
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Information Sciences, Information Technology, Finance, Supply Chain or related fields
•    Master’s Degree preferred
