Job Summary

As a NetApp Global Services Technical Program Manager for the Professional Services Digital Operational Excellence (DoX) team, you will be responsible to lead the PS Technology Modernization efforts focusing on establishing the cloud foundation needed to enable the organization's goals. The Program Manager, Tech Modernization will provide program leadership through work plan development and all aspects of managing the work, ensuring key milestones are clearly defined and met. The Program Manager will coordinate with key business and technical leaders across multiple teams to drive strategic alignment of the individual program tracks, assisting teams in defining, tracking, managing, and attaining critical success measures of the modernization program deliverables. The individual will lead members of the project team from the Digital Operational Excellence (DoX) team and beyond, in day-to-day program/project delivery, proactively articulate/report project status to senior management, and effectively respond to issues and facilitate solutions.

Job Requirements


  • Experience with implementing or integrating large IT initiatives like interoperability, application modernization, data integration, or migration services (ERP, CRM, etc.)
  • Work with leadership to define the multi-year scope and drive an integrated program plan to implement against the modernization scope
  • Manage multi-year technology and data modernization projects from the business side working closely with IT and other stakeholder teams for solutions on the data lake, data warehouse retirement, BI, and Analytics
  • Area identification and Implementation of best practices for automation in the data and analytics space
  • Utilize specific subject matter expertise regarding modernization and program management disciplines to manage stakeholders
  • Manage tool/solution/vendor selection process, monitor vendor performance, and track deliverables for system solutions
  • Lead and produce timely and consistent executive-level status reporting that can be used to update various internal and external stakeholders
  • Establish governance and monitoring routines, including agenda alignment and facilitation of meetings catered to executive and key stakeholder groups
  • Extremely organized and goal-oriented bringing transparency to both business and technology to build trust among stakeholders


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.
  • 10-12 years of experience in technology with 7 years of technical project management experience 
  • Awareness of Cloud solution stack and experience in Cloud migration
  • Operational excellence; adept at simplifying complexity and developing scalable propositions
  • Building great partnerships with globally distributed cross-functional partners
  • Ability to facilitate discussion at both the team and executive level, suggest alternatives or different approaches
  • Lead by example and demonstrate value-add principles to the Digital Operational Excellence team and beyond
  • Experience in Professional Services process/systems/tools including subscription services is a plus
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum/Lean concepts and principles is a plus
