Title: Security Technical Program Manager

Job Summary
The Information Security Technical Program Manager (TPM) will provide technical expertise in various security domains to assist in prioritizing, managing and implementation of technical projects. In the role, you'll plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, communicate with stakeholders, and assist with technical design/configuration/testing. Candidate will work closely with a service team and their partner to find solutions for identified problems, manage projects to closure based on priority, and assist with technical design/configurations.
Responsibilities
- Work with multiple engineering teams to manage the execution of new product security reviews
- Program management support for a team providing expert advice and consultancy to internal business partners on risk assessment, threat modeling, and prevention of security issues throughout the SDLC
- Collaborate with engineers to define and document secure development practices and requirements to enable secure product development
- Define information security controls and patterns that support risk assessments and support the development of secure architectures
- Understand service inter-dependencies and drive towards secure technical solutions for multi-tiered systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to drive the product roadmaps by providing security requirements that help to map security controls / patterns to product features
- Address bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
- Partner with multiple teams across multiple locations with varying sets of priorities to ensure a timely delivery of secure products
Job Requirements
- Collaborate with security experts to develop robust security guidance documentation
- Identify opportunities for development of security assurance tools and manage development efforts
- Security metrics delivery and improvements
- Assistance with recruiting activities and administrative work
- Minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity experience, focus on:
- technical design, engineering of cybersecurity tools in various domains
- managing complex technical implementation
- Experience with design, implementation, and operationalizing of cybersecurity systems – including documenting requirements, working with vendors, configuring/testing system, creating knowledge articles, executing transition to relevant operations team.
- Project management experience focused on development and SDLC areas and associated technology
- Experience documenting, socializing, and operationalizing cybersecurity technology and processes
Education
- Demonstrated experience working across multiple teams to build cross-functional relationships. Includes working with multiple cross-functional members with various levels of technical experience.
- Agility of working with startups to generate additional value, and ensure established technologies are used as well
- Continuously assess and improve the organization’s cybersecurity controls
- Advise project teams on SDLC requirements for new projects
- Guide the organization in establishing policies, standards, and procedures which focus on cybersecurity from the start
- Ability to think critically and explore new creative solutions
- Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong technical communication skills (written and verbal)
