Job Summary

As a Senior Financial Analyst you play a key role in the Hybrid Cloud Business Unit Finance team, supporting Engineering, Converged Infrastructure and the growing StorageGRID Business. This individual is responsible for supporting several VP’s and managers in the organization as well as their operational staff. It includes performing research and financial modeling to help with decision-making process along with assisting requests from Corporate finance or other stakeholders

Job Requirements

This role has responsibility for a wide range of financial support and analysis tasks. It includes but is not limited to:

• Business partnering and financial modeling for StorageGRID and Converged Infrastructure businesses
• Business partnering and financial assistance with Engineering team

• Managing opex, headcount, and other spend for the teams supported.  Report forecast, actuals, and variance analysis at month/quarter end.
• Working with operational teams to forecast spending and effectively utilize budgets and set priorities.

• Other ad-hoc projects or activities to provide FP&A support.

 

Experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills as needed to work successfully with staff and managers within and outside of function or the company.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and on cross functional teams.
• Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas.

• Ability to follow standard accounting and finance practices, and departmental procedures and processes.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Hyperion skills a plus.
