Job Summary

This position requires excellent understanding of IT contracts for hardware, software, professional services, managed service providers.

 

Job Requirements

Gathering of IT's requirements for contract negotiation within given time constraints

• Participating in IT’s RFPs

• Partnering with Corporate Procurement for timely and cost effective contract negotiations while mitigating risk to the company

• Redlining of IT contracts (for hardware, software, professional services, managed services)

• Interpreting contractual language on behalf of stakeholders

• Managing IT managed service providers under contract

• Vendor dispute resolution

• Vendor performance and relationship management

• Development of executive level supplier quarterly business reviews

• Management of IT renewals

Experience

• Excellent understanding of IT contracts (for hardware, software, professional services, managed service providers)

• Demonstrated ability to redline a contract, change order, and/or statement of work

• Demonstrated ability to manage outsourced service providers in a managed service environment

• Demonstrated ability to assist in defining SLAs, KPIs, CPIs, and any other performance metrics related to IT contracted services

• Demonstrated ability to assist in creating clear deliverables and acceptance criteria

• Demonstrated strength in facilitating projects, multi-tasking, and setting priorities

• Demonstrated ability to develop executive level supplier quarterly business reviews

• Excellent understanding of IT purchasing and finance concepts, practices, and procedures

• Work well under pressure, proactive in meeting/exceeding customer expectations, and organized

• Consistently pay attention to details

• Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Excellent written and oral communications

• Excellent team player

• Experience working in IT Vendor Management Office
