Job Summary

As a senior member of the Master Data Management (MDM) team, this role is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and direction of data stewards who have the responsibility to provide world class data management and analytical services. This role requires stakeholder engagement and partnering with business leaders to achieve their analytics and data management requirements.  This person will partner with IT and other delivery teams to evolve NetApp’s data quality and management capabilities.  In addition, this person should have experience presenting to and working with senior management (including CXOs and VPs).

Job Requirements

•    Manage a high performing team of data stewards.
•    Deliver value to the business through enterprise data management and analysis.
•    Propose and incubate new ideas and solutions for data management.  Follow through to convert these ideas into live processes and projects.
•    Work with IT and business stakeholders to deliver capabilities for business decision support and master data management.
•    Lead and direct multiple enterprise processes for project execution and cross functional alignment.
•    Work independently with business leadership to gain buy-in and support on project proposals.


•    A Bachelor of Sciences Degree required with a focus in Business or Technology; an MBA is preferred.
•    4+ years of experience in a people manager role.
•    4+ years of data management/analysis experience, including extensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Understanding of programming languages like SQL is a plus.
•    Demonstrated ability to structure and solve ambiguous and business challenges.
•    Strong presentation and influencing skills.
•    Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects.
