Job Summary

Sr. Network Engineer will be responsible for network design, planning, installation, and support for Enterprise Data Center networks. Translates business objectives into cohesive network recommendations and solutions. Manages the planning and designing of new networks, establishes technical standards and ensures appropriate interface capabilities with other networks and systems. Evaluates and implements new products available through outside vendors.

Job Requirements
  • Working with F5 load balancers and involved in complete support day in and out work on the F5 load balancers LTMs, GTMs, BIG-IQ,  and ASM, in Datacenter and remote locations
  • Responsible for the day-to-day activities of design, analysis, planning, and implementation of network components.
  • Provides SME level expertise and problem resolution support for complex Data Center networking issues.
  • Leads the development and evaluation of network performance criteria and measurement methods.
  • Evaluates the analysis of the short-term or long-term capacity needs for switching, routing, and Data Center WAN connectivity.
  • Evaluates network architecture design, in addition to feasibility and cost studies.
  • Develops alternative routing scenarios and changes in required sequence of network activities.
  • Implements and supports Software Defined Networking solutions for the Data Center network environment.
  • Automate Data Center network infrastructure end-to-end including provisioning, management, and monitoring
  • Master’s  Degree and/or 10+ years of work-related experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience configuring and supporting Enterprise LAN/WAN Infrastructure.
  • Solid experience designing and supporting Data Center legacy networking.
  • Strong knowledge of OSPF and BGP routing protocols.
  • Solid understanding of Spanning Tree, VLANs, and TCP/IP.
  • Demonstrated understanding of implementing and supporting Software Defined Networking – Cisco ACI. expertise in data center switching technologies like nexus 9000,7000 and 5000
  • Experience implementing network automation.
  • Demonstrated experience with design, implementation, and support of infrastructure automation using scripting languages such as Python, Perl, JSON, or YAML
  • Experience using tools such as Ansible, REST APPI, Gitlab
  • Hands-on experience in designing and implementing network at scale, such as automated deployments (e.g., ZTP).
  • Ability to provide end to end network problem resolution.
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently.
