Job Summary

Senior Storage Infrastructure Architect needed to join a team working with a brand new NetApp Cloud technology!

In this exciting new role you will be responsible for translating the client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for large complex technology solutions, and integrating architecture. You will utilize CCIE level routing, switching, and networking skills for multiple large enterprise data center deployments

 

Essential Functions:

Assess, design, implement, troubleshoot, and document hybrid cloud and data center networks, security, and related systems

Develop high-level and detailed network implementation and test plans

Contribute to responding to RFIs/RFPs

Creation and maintenance of processes, procedures, technical design, and sytem documentation

Job Requirements

10+ years of experience in the design of large enterprise networks, including expertise with Enterprise Infrastructure and Data Centers

Prior consulting experience to include strategic and tactical planning for data management and delivery systems

Ability to work collaboratively with customers and other internal organizations during potentially stressful situations while providing professional and courteous guidance

Strong technical background in storage, computer and network integration

Experience with switching and routing technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN, subnetting, VPN, EIGRP, OSFP, BGP, Spanning tree, EtherChannel, Port Security, 802.1X, MAB)

Experience with network Security, compliance, vulnerability mitigation, proxies, and firewall technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Check Point)

Experience with performance and health monitoring of network infrastructure

 

Education

Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8 years experience; or equivalent combination of relevant professional certifications (JNCIA, JNCIS, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, ITIL v3, etc.) and applicable senior level industry experience.

 

Ability to work with and present to customers, with strong communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines
