Job Summary

In the role of Treasury Manager for Global Systems and Compliance, you are part of the Treasury Operations team and will report to the Director of Treasury & Risk.  You will be responsible for planning, analyzing and implementing defined activities and components of Treasury Compliance globally.  Additionally, you will evaluate current/needed Treasury Systems and partner with Technology throughout Treasury (and partner teams) globally to drive next generation systems while maintaining and evaluating compliant processes, policies and controls. You will be closely aligned to all areas of the Treasury Organization. By partnering with our Corporate Controller and Internal Audit teams, you will help ensure compliance standards, objectives, and goals are achieved cross-functionally – a key success factor in this role.  This role is based in either Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina or Cork, Ireland.

Key activities and responsibilities 
•    Demonstrate the ability to document processes, business risks, identify controls, assess the business impact of non-compliance issues; draft pragmatic, timely remediation of required actions
•    Assess and evaluate controls standards, adherence and effectiveness
•    Design and implement new control standards in the form of Policy, Processes and/or Procedures
•    Document and evaluate events surrounding non-compliance; drive and lead remediation actions and efforts related to discovery of non-compliance events
•    Ensure acquisition compliance to NetApp and Treasury Policy and Controls
•    Lead efforts to educate & communicate to Treasury and cross-functional partners globally on matters of Compliance – facilitate training seminars, publish communications, etc.
•    Work close with Corporate Controller’s group and internal Audit to ensure policy alignment
•    Support partner organizations with Compliance needs that integrate with Treasury (Tax, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Accounting, Payroll)
•    Lead / participate in SOX monthly/quarterly activities for Treasury key controls
•    Champion the technology roadmap for treasury; provide expertise and recommendations for technology applications
•    Serve as program manager to assess and implement the latest treasury technologies  
•    Lead the treasury system upgrade project and any related RFPs, working with outside vendors and IT resources as necessary
•    Develop and define business requirements to support process and system changes
•    Lead process design sessions to identify gaps and opportunities in system capabilities
•    Monitor implemented systems and processes to ensure high performance
•    Manage support requests to ensure timely and thorough resolution of issues
•    Engage with vendor service support groups to bring resolution to system performance or other processing issues
•    Ability to support and/or back up, as required, Cash Management Operations

Job Requirements

•    Highly flexible and work well in a diverse, global, team-oriented environment 
•    Requires demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner both orally and in writing
•    Ability to manage several projects and activities simultaneously, often with tight timelines
•    Ability to work independently and thoroughly
•    Ability to create, foster and maintain working relationships with internal and external partners
•    Project Management background / experience preferred
•    Fundamental knowledge and experience of working in a Risk/Compliance Role preferred, but not required
•    Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite:  Excel, Word, and PowerPoint


•    10+ years of working experience in finance or treasury management in a Multi-National Corporation or banking environment preferred
•    Bachelor's degree preferably with a business and finance major; Master's degree is highly preferred
•    Experience with Oracle and other treasury-specific software
