Job Summary

As an Executive Briefing Center Specialist, you serve as the main contact point for the Executive Briefing Center. Additionally, you are involved in a wide range of other activities that facilitate the smooth scheduling of NetApp meetings, product and company demos, presentations, and events. In support of these activities you coordinate and manage vendor relationships and work with internal resources to ensure successful completion of projects and adherence to deadlines. Because of your high visibility role involving interactions with visitors, customers, NetApp employees across functions and levels, investors, and vendors, you must demonstrate an elevated level of professionalism on a daily basis. Must be a team-player with high energy, a positive attitude and the ability to quickly build rapport and trust with internal and external clients.


o    Evaluate briefing requests based on sales impact, revenue potential, level of attendees, market segmentation, stage in sales cycle, etc.
o    Consult strategically with account team to complete briefing request form
o    Act as consultant to account manager from initial briefing request to create agenda, source discussion leaders and lead prep calls
o    Work with senior leadership, sales, marketing, and other areas of the company to create, plan and execute customized briefings
o    Plan briefings that meet the objectives of both the customer and account team
o    Facilitate prep and planning calls with account team and discussion leaders to ensure discussion leaders understand briefing objectives
o    Provide feedback to discussion leaders re: content and delivery and to sales team
o    Populate and keep briefing management system up to date to reflect agenda changes
o    Stay abreast of new product developments
o    Manage special projects as assigned
o    Consult with and coach account managers on successful briefing execution
o    Build and maintain relationships with markets teams, product managers, executives and executive admins regarding processes and procedures necessary to execute successful briefings
o    Conduct follow-up on each briefing, gathering account manager and customer feedback, identifying post-briefing opportunities, report on conclusions and suggestions.
o    Maintain Briefing program intranet website (working with Briefing Associate)
o    Qualify and schedule briefings

o    Leading debriefing discussion between topics
o    Noting action items and recapping at end of briefing
o    Note capturing any significant customer feedback received during the visit to share with customer listening organization.
o    Closing the briefing
o    Evaluating the briefing throughout the day and purposely intervening to keep the meeting on track with client and account team objectives
o    Present the corporate overview, demonstrations, or other selected agenda items in briefings

Job Requirements

•    Years of experience 6-10
•    Customer service or Sales experience required, with Marketing a plus
