Job Summary

As a Finance Intern, you will support the G&A Finance team by helping improve headcount (HC) and operating expense (OpEx) forecasting. This project focuses on building foundational forecasting tools, improving reporting processes, and identifying efficiencies—while giving you hands‑on exposure to real-world finance operations, data analysis, and business decision support.

What You’ll Work On

Forecasting & Process Analysis

  • Review the current HC and OpEx forecasting process
  • Help identify gaps, inconsistencies, and drivers of forecast variance
  • Support recommendations to improve forecast accuracy and consistency

Forecast Model Development

  • Assist in building a flexible HC and OpEx forecasting model
  • Analyze early‑quarter spend trends to help improve quarter‑end forecast predictability
  • Identify recurring variances, trends, and key cost drivers

Reporting & Data Management

  • Support enhancements to OpEx reporting and data organization
  • Help assess existing reporting workflows and manual data processes
  • Assist in creating standardized reports, templates, or dashboards

Automation & Efficiency Opportunities

  • Help identify areas where automation could reduce manual effort
  • Support evaluation of tools or process improvements that enable scalable reporting

Key Deliverables

  • Documented observations and recommendations to improve forecasting processes
  • Contribution to a repeatable HC and OpEx forecasting model
  • Standardized reporting templates or dashboards to improve visibility into OpEx trends
  • A summary of potential automation opportunities for future implementation

Education

Must be enrolled in an educational or professional program through summer 2026 or later.
