Title:  Procurement Analyst Intern

Job Summary

Reporting into the Director of Procurement for Mass Storage Commodities, the Procurement Analyst intern will:

 

  • Partner with the SSD Procurement Manager and lead a key project impacting the bottom line
  • Lead the SSD cost forecasting project. The project involves building a tool to predict SSD pricing by aligning relevant inputs and by leveraging advanced statistics/AI/ML tools. The goal for the tool is to provide a relatively accurate NetApp point-of-view of the SSD market and pricing
  • Develop an understanding of our Procurement, Supply Chain and Systems and Tools processes and identify targets for improvement in transactional and operations efficiencies
  • Support the SSD Procurement manager with coordinating supplier meeting/negotiations and ad hoc analysis around spend/cost projections

Job Requirements

  • Must haves: strong analytical skills, great communicator, eagerness to collaborate cross-functionally, looking for a fast-paced environment 
  • Nice to haves: degree in engineering/statistics/MBA, understanding of semiconductor

Education

Must be enrolled in an educational or professional program through summer 2025 or later
