Job Summary

The Data Services team at NetApp helps customers protect and govern their data wherever it lives. We are responsible for driving preference for our primary storage platforms through a consolidated set of data protection and governance offerings

 

Thousands of customers across verticals deploy NetApp solutions for their business-critical applications. NetApp’s Data Services team helps customers manage and secure their most valuable asset, their data. We are looking for a product manager that can turn our vision and strategy into reality.

 

In this role, as Product Manager, you will focus on delivering awesome ransomware protection products that realize our vision and strategy. You will apply strong technical and business acumen to synthesize market and technology trends to develop product roadmaps and specifications with laser focus on customer experience. You will lead a cross functional team of engineers and designers to build amazing products. You must be a strategic thinker, extremely results driven, technologically savvy and skilled at collaborating and building relationships.

Job Responsibilities

  • Use a customer centric approach to execute product vision, direction, and business plans, including product plans / roadmaps, product evolution, and product lifecycle process.
  • Specify technical requirements, develop roadmap, and provide technical direction.
  • Create customer facing collaterals, launch materials, and participate in other activities to evangelize product and solution.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to determine success.
  • Gather and analyze customer data to identify adoption friction, trends, and other customer pain points to inform roadmap decisions.
  • Keep track of competition and develop competitive analyses.
  • Provide technical training and collateral including presentations and / or Technical FAQs.
  • Help resolve technical issues reported by customers on the new / deployed product.
  • Mange new product introduction process to insure flawless product launch.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management  experience in delivering technical products/services to market.
  • Experience delivering technology products from ideation to post launch.
  • Demonstrated passion for delivering best in class customer experiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams towards a common goal.
  • Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Customer Support or Marketing highly desired.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ever-changing environment.
  • Results-oriented growth mindset with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
  • An excellent understanding, curiosity, and interest in how technology products and solutions solve business/customer problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent relationship building and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple, critical projects is required.
  • Expertise in data and ransomware protection is a plus.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is
128300 - 180300 and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
