As a Senior Finance Lead, you will partner closely with senior leaders across the Product Organization, with focus areas including Product Marketing and Capital Expenditures across Hybrid Cloud and Public Cloud. You will oversee financial planning, forecasting, management reporting and decision support for the Product and Technology leadership teams.
This is a cross functional role, where you will partner with multiple functions including Product teams, Go-To-Market, Corporate Finance, and procurement to deliver accurate financial forecasting, and actionable insights. Analytical thinking, crisp communication, effective business partnering and ability to adapt to a dynamic environment are key to success in this role.
Ideally, we would like this person to be in one of our offices, in a Hybrid capacity, committing to being in one of our offices 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as trusted business partner to senior Product leaders for investment and resourcing decisions
- Lead annual financial planning cycle for Product Marketing and Capital investments, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, roadmap, and profitability targets
- Drive monthly and quarterly forecasting processes, delivering accuracy and insightful insights by collaborating closely with business partners
- Analyze the effectiveness and return on investment of marketing programs and initiatives
- Identify opportunities for efficiencies of capital expenditures in partnership with senior business leaders
- Prepare accurate monthly capital expenditure cash flow and depreciation forecasts
- Own Opex forecasting and enforce alignment with financial targets, driving spend accountability and efficiency
- Develop strong relationships with business partners and drive initiatives aligned with organizational priorities
- Review financials for close activities such as end-of-period accruals and reclass entries
- Craft insightful financial presentations to support business reviews
- Drive cross-functional efforts for analytics improvement, data quality, and self-service reporting
- Liaise with Corporate Accounting for correct accounting treatment of transactional activities
Requirements
- BS/BA degree with 8+ years of experience in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) &/or Finance related experience.
- Strong experience with Capital Expenditures, Operating Expenses, Forecasting and Reporting
- Highly analytical with experience building Financial Models
- Proactive, self-directed problem solver who can work independently with guidance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), with Hyperion skills as a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and confidently with senior business partners
- Adaptability to rapid business and organizational changes in a high-growth environment
- Knowledge of standard accounting and finance practices, departmental procedures, and processes
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is $152K - $226K. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package.
