Job Summary
Reporting to the CIO, the Vice President of Enterprise Applications is responsible for the innovation, strategy, business alignment, and delivery of applications and solutions that support business partners in the GTM and Commerce areas. As a member of the IT senior leadership team, the Vice President of Enterprise Applications is an influential role, maintaining executive relationships, making investment and priority trade-off decisions, negotiating, and managing vendor contracts, and recruiting and developing high performing teams.
This role will oversee the implementation and optimization of critical GTM technology solutions, such as CRM, marketing automation, customer analytics, and sales enablement platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing,Customer Success and Product, to align IT initiatives with the company’s GTM strategy, ensuring scalability, data integrity, and business impact.The Vice President of Enterprise Applications GTM will provide vision and leadership to a global team comprised of both full-time employees and contractors. He/she is an advocate for enterprise application services requirements and is responsible for the development, configuration and delivery of a comprehensive software development strategy, architecture, and solutions.

The complexity of this position requires a leadership approach that is engaging, imaginative, and collaborative, with a sophisticated ability to develop scalable, supportable, maintainable, robust, and high-performing solutions that meet our business partner requirements. This will require the role to view the organization as a service which will drive discussions with the business on prioritization of work efforts such that innovation and strategic opportunities are invested in more than tactical/functional ones.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute the IT strategy for GTM applications, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall business objectives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success leadership to identify technology needs and opportunities to enhance GTM processes.
• Collaborate with business leaders to align with business goals and IT effort with prioritized list of projects, operational metrics, opportunities for improvements, and successful completion of efforts.
• Oversee the implementation, integration, and optimization of GTM applications, including CRM (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo), analytics platforms, and sales enablement tools (e.g., Outreach, Gong.io).
• Ensure seamless integration of GTM applications with enterprise systems such as CPQ, ERP, finance, and customer support platforms.
• Define and monitor KPIs to measure the performance and ROI of GTM applications.
• Design and enable next-gen GTM strategies, leveraging AI and technology more broadly to serve as a force multiplier for GTM teams
• Lead a team managing all aspects of business relationship, business requirements, application development and delivery across multiple functions, business units and business lines.
• Lead and inspire the application teams to engage with the business and identify new functionality, develop compelling business cases, prioritize projects, and develop plans that maximize return on investment for the company.
• Effectively initiate, plan, schedule, implement, and bring to closure multiple high priority projects.
• Drive the cultural changes necessary to enable a services-oriented organization with a focus on prioritization of work based on company goals, optimized resources utilization, technology innovation, security, and financial acumen.
• Partner with the enterprise architecture team to ensure there is a clear technology roadmap which aligns with business direction, continuous improvement, and IT ease of doing business.
• Identify emerging technology trends, especially in SaaS and cloud computing, and ensure the company is leveraging them when appropriate to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and drive value.
• Develop, implement, and monitor software development policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance.
• Recruit, develop and retain high caliber software development talent, especially for key leadership positions, and develop a robust career ladder with the software team.
Key Requirements
• Able to communicate technical or complex subject matter in business terms.
• Skilled at conflict resolution and problem-solving to achieve win-win outcomes.
• Has successfully led development and delivery of multiple complex business technology solutions into production that have achieved or surpassed business goals.
• Has knowledge of emerging trends and developments in PaaS, SaaS, AI, machine learning and other digital technologies.
• 10+ years of experience working with CRM, Commerce and Marketing Technologies implementations, life cycle management, modifications, and integrations.
• SFDC CRM experience is a plus.
• Experience working with Sox and GDPR compliance.
• Experienced in vendor negotiations.
• Able to attract, develop and retain talent and build high performing software developers, business systems analysts, solution architects, and service managers.
• Able to foster a culture of transparency, innovation, and a sense of purpose among the team and create clear accountabilities and metrics.
• Ability to step into projects already in progress, or in need of rescue, and effectively assume a leadership role.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, applied math; advanced degree preferred
• 12+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years focused on GTM applications or related technologies.
• Proven experience managing and scaling enterprise GTM systems, such as CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms.

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 293,250 - 379,500 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
