Job Summary

As a core member of the worldwide partner programs team you will be helping to develop and implement EMEA channel partner programs that support EMEA and worldwide channel strategy.  You will work with the channel and field sales organizations, geo channel marketing teams, and the partner community to define partner criteria, program architecture, business proposition, and supporting benefit programs.  In addition, you will assist the EMEA channel marketing teams on program launch and execution, and assess program impact to address changing business needs and market dynamics.

 

The ideal candidate will have EMEA regional experience and be a high energy, hands on, detailed-oriented individual that has successfully built and deployed partner programs and can help NetApp achieve business goals in EMEA with innovative programs that strive to make NetApp easy to do business with.

Essential Functions

  • Lead cross functional virtual team to align and achieve channel strategy goals
  • Develop and deploy best practices for channel program expansion in regards to investment programs, MDF, deal registration, value based competencies, incentive programs and promotional campaigns and expanding partner ecosystem to include cloud-focused partners
  • Manage programs through all phases of the development cycle; from analysis and design through implementation, tracking and evaluating success
  • Interface with finance and legal to maintain compliance requirements
  • Build rapport, effectively communicate key messages and enable partner stakeholders to execute the value of the program
  • Work closely with cross functional sales and marketing teams to align program goals with business requirements
  • Work with channel program operations to identify ways to effectively manage programs and determine and ensure delivery of necessary infrastructure/system changes to support program requirements 
  • Work closely with worldwide integrated marketing and channel communications team to define program launch requirements and support the development and execution of launch plans and materials
  • Travel approximately 20%-30%

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of high technology channel marketing/channel programs experience
  • Excellent people and interpersonal skills; understanding of EMEA markets and channels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Demonstrated sales and marketing skills for impactful program development and a clear track record of execution
  • Candidate must also be highly self-motivated, able to work in an independent environment, able to manage multiple tasks and projects, detail oriented and capable of excellent follow through 

Education

Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.
