Job Summary

As a Client Executive for a Strategic account, you will be responsible for supporting the Global Client Executive and various sales activities within a single, large customer to achieve assigned sales quota for that account. You will assist in the collaboration and coordination of all sales and pre-sales roles associated with the account across the world to develop and grow the NetApp business in the account. The Client Executive serves as a trusted advisor to the customer’s leadership and uses business acumen and technical expertise to influence customer decisions to maximize global revenue from the account.

 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as a sales orchestrator, pulling in the right experts, at the right place and right time
  • Oversee multiple concurrent sales motions (some owned by specialist sellers or even other sales roles) to ensure a customer-centric approach, while not inhibiting other sellers or specialists from hunting for opportunities
  • Generate, assist and develop business growth opportunities, working collaboratively across organizations to maximize business results
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals, defined by the Global Client Executive, by leading customers and internal teams through the entire business cycle
  • Build and strengthen NetApp’s business relationship with the client; ensure all needs are met through the customer lifecycle
  • Work collaboratively with VAR partners and ecosystem partners across the IT landscape to enhance our positioning and drive exponential growth 

Job Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills including presentation skills
  • This role requires native Dutch and fluent English
  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees within department and across functions
  • Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems
  • Ability to convey information clearly and provide analysis as needed to help the customer to make buying decisions
  • At least 5 years of technology sales experience, preferably in a team selling environment
  • Background in IT infrastructure, Storage, Cloud Service, and SaaS, IaaS, PaaS
  • Highly organized and disciplined with the ability to coordinate and lead multiple concurrent selling efforts

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
