Title: EBC Specialist
Schiphol-Rijk, NL, 1118 BH
Job Summary
The Technical Briefing Program Manager (BPM) plans and facilitates strategic executive customer engagements from discovery through follow-up. Working with sales teams, executives, product leaders, subject matter experts, and external stakeholders, this role translates customer priorities and account objectives into focused briefing experiences that support business outcomes. The BPM connects discussions across NetApp’s storage, hybrid cloud, AI, data management, data protection, and broader portfolio into a cohesive customer story. The role requires technical credibility, executive presence, consultative questioning, active listening, and the ability to simplify complex topics through presentation and whiteboarding. This is an active facilitation role, not solely logistics coordination.
Responsibilities
• Lead planning, technical preparation, delivery, and follow-up for executive briefings. Translate customer objectives, account strategy, opportunity context, and desired outcomes into a focused agenda with the right executives and discussion leaders.
• Use consultative discovery to identify business priorities, pain points, technical requirements, decision criteria, and success measures. Coach account teams when objectives or agendas need greater clarity or stronger customer relevance.
• Run preparation calls so account teams, executives, and subject matter experts understand the customer context, their roles, the discussion approach, and expected outcomes. Confirm that content and demonstrations are ready for an executive audience.
• Facilitate briefings from introductions through technical discussions, demonstrations, transitions, and close. Manage time and flow, encourage customer dialogue, surface unanswered questions, and redirect conversations when needed.
• Connect customer priorities to relevant NetApp capabilities. Use technical fluency and whiteboarding to simplify complex concepts, map challenges to solution approaches, and explain portfolio differentiation in practical business terms.
• Present and support NetApp strategy, solution roadmaps, and demonstrations in an outcome-focused manner that connects current and future capabilities to the customer’s environment, priorities, and next step in the sales conversation.
• Build trusted relationships with sales, product management, executives, EBC peers, and cross-functional partners. Collaborate across regions and time zones to support consistent standards, shared engagements, and program improvements.
• Capture customer feedback, decisions, advocacy opportunities, and follow-up actions. Maintain accurate briefing records and use program data to identify trends, measure impact, and provide actionable recommendations.
Job Requirements
• 5+ years of Executive Briefing Center experience in a B2B technology company, including executive customer engagements, technical briefings, and presentations.
• Strong recent facilitation and presentation experience, with completed facilitation training or certification, executive presence, and confidence guiding high-stakes customer conversations.
• Technical or engineering background with working knowledge of enterprise storage, hybrid cloud, AI, data management, data protection, and relevant NetApp solutions.
• Ability to understand customer technology environments and explain NetApp’s strategy, roadmaps, portfolio value, and competitive differentiation in terms of customer priorities and business outcomes.
• Proven ability to partner effectively with sales teams, executives, product leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders while maintaining sound judgment and accountability.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple complex priorities while delivering a consistent executive-level experience.
• Technical curiosity and commitment to continuous learning, with the ability to use content management tools, digital whiteboards, and live whiteboarding techniques
• Conversational proficiency in German is preferred. Ability to travel 10–20% as necessary.
