Finance Support Intern at NetApp

Can you handle some responsibility? Do you want to contribute in business deals? Are you interested in learning financial analysis skills related to commercial Deals? If the answer to these questions is yes, then we are looking for you! Reporting to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, the role will be part of the finance support function to the company’s EMEA Commercial Finance Team, with a prime focus on Deal Economics analysis. The ideal candidate should desire pursuing a career in Business Economics in a multi-national, cross-cultural, dynamic and progressive company, and will demonstrate a mature attitude to the performance of their duties in a key business function. Our EMEA headquarters are based at Schiphol-Rijk. Hopefully we’ll see you soon!

  • Prepare Deal analytics and drive operational and financial metrics in support of key decision making
  • Gather, analyse, prepare and summarize Deal inputs for the finance modelling.
  • Prepare Win-Loss Analysis on Big Deals and Opportunities
  • Create and prepare Deal review checklist and confirm all mandatory data inputs.
  • Participate in projects related to Finance Training Materials on new commercial offerings.
  • Various ad-hoc analytical activities to support the commercial finance team and our business partners in executing their deliverables with a high professional quality and on a timely manner.
Student Profile
  • University(master) student or equivalent (graduating in 2020 or 2021).
  • Self-driven and highly motivated with attention to details.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and on cross functional teams.
  • Logical thinking and good problem-solving skills.
  • Effective organization skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Good communication skills – oral, written in English.
  • Ability to follow standard accounting and finance practices, and departmental procedures and processes.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Studying Business Economics or an equivalent study.
