Job Summary

This position is essentially a Channel Technical Role whereby you will primarily provide pre-sales technical support to partners for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions in a customer opportunity.

Your responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to:

  • Uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to partners and their customers through sales presentations and product demonstrations. Also, provides roadmap information to partners under NDA, where necessary.
  • Assists the partners in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and may prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions.
  • Provides enablement and education to partners to ensure their products and solutions knowledge remains high including new product introductions.
  • Develops partners to expand their offerings to the market by embedding NetApp technologies as part of those solution offerings.

Your skillset shall include, but not be limited to:

  • Good presentation skills
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to listen and be an advocate for channel partners back into NetApp sales, technical and product management teams
  • Creativity and confidence to challenge the status quo and look for new ways to do things for efficiency gains.
Education

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree an advantage; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
