Job Summary

The Department:
The EMEA HR Team resides in the bigger European countries to support all businesses across EMEA. The team is a combination of HR Business Partners across the EMEA Region and several so-called Centers of Excellences (COE’s), Total Rewards being one of the COE’s. The EMEA HR Team as such supports the business in reaching their goals and takes accountability for supporting them with compensation & benefits programs and policies, talent management, organizational development, delivery of HR programs and administrative processes. The Senior Compensation and Benefits Business Partner will therefore also be a part of the EMEA HR Team.

Your Role: 
As a Senior Compensation and Benefits Business Partner you provide program management for 20+ countries in EMEA, supporting both sales and support organizations. You will partner closely with the Sr. Manager Total Rewards, but also with HR, Business Managers and leaders. 
You will contribute to the program design, development and communications, and set competitive pay, rolling out corporate programs and establish new programs, align existing programs to market, legal compliance and our Total Rewards Philosophy.
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication, strong analytical and interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to customer service.

Your Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in both compensation & benefits programs.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook.

  • Ability to complete multiple, moderately complex technical tasks.

 
Essential Functions:

Compensation

  • Market survey collection, submission & analysis, salary range setting and budget planning for both commission and non-commission roles.
  • Provide compensation guidance and technical expertise to HR, Sales Comp Team and Leaders.
  • Understand local markets and local competitors and align our competitive pay with NetApp’s compensation philosophy.
  • Compensation communication and training to HR and management.
  • Design and roll out global programs (merit, incentive compensation, equity, etc.)

 
Benefits

  • Design and development of (new) country benefits programs and policies, using benchmark studies to reflect NetApp’s global benefits philosophy and business goals.
  • Establishment and maintenance of benefits program design and policies with support from outside consulting expertise.
  • Assessment of existing programs for opportunities to improve design, ensure local compliance, service delivery / efficiency, generate cost efficiencies and recommend appropriate courses of action.
  • Conduct market competitive reviews.

Education

A bachelor’s degree is required.
