Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Cybersecurity Project Coordinator to support the delivery of strategic security initiatives while providing executive-level administrative support to senior leadership. This hybrid role ensures seamless coordination across cybersecurity projects and enables operational efficiency through high-touch executive support.

Job Requirements

  • Project Coordination
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
  • Maintain project documentation: charters, timelines, meeting minutes, action logs, and stakeholder communications
  • Coordinate cross-functional cybersecurity initiatives, including risk assessments, compliance audits, incident response planning, and tool integrations
  • Facilitate recurring governance meetings, prepare agendas, and synthesize discussions into executive-ready summaries
  • Support onboarding of stakeholders and ensure alignment with compliance, risk, and business objectives
  • Monitor progress against KPIs and escalate risks or blockers to leadership
  • Assist in the development of training materials and enablement resources for security awareness and incident response
  • Prepare briefing documents, executive decks, and status reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Handle confidential communications and ensure timely follow-up on action items
  • Serve as a liaison between cybersecurity leadership and other departments, ensuring clarity and responsiveness

Education & Experience

•    3+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in cybersecurity or IT
•    Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
•    Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, SharePoint)
•    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to synthesize complex topics for executive audiences
•    High attention to detail, discretion, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

 

Preferred Attributes
•    PMP, CAPM, or CSM certification
•    Experience with incident response or third-party risk workflows
•    Familiarity with executive-level reporting and governance structures

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 87,550 - 130,900 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
