Title:  Senior Finance Lead

Job Summary:

 NetApp is looking for a tenacious Senior Finance Lead to join the Product Finance team, supporting platform strategy for NetApp, with a focus on AI enablement, an area going through rapid growth. This is a stellar opportunity to get involved in a fast growing area. This individual will develop the financial models behind New Product Introductions and business models, with a focus on AI initiatives. It is a highly visible role which supports senior management in the decision-making process.  

This is a cross functional role, where you will partner with multiple functions including Engineering, Product teams, Sales, GTM, Accounting, and their related Finance partners to deliver actionable insights to influence financial results. Analytical thinking, crisp communication, effective business partnering and ability to adapt to a dynamic environment are key to success in this role.  Compiles and analyzes financial information for an organization. Supports senior management business decisions through financial and business analysis. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Product and cross functional teams to define new business models and monetization strategy
  • Own New Product Introduction and Pricing Reviews, partnering with Product Management, Pricing Procurement and Program Management. Provide in-depth product margin and Return on Investment analysis
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis of the product business, helping build presentations with actionable insights into business performance and trends
  • Drive monthly/quarterly business reviews, metrics creation and tracking
  • Develop business review packages – analyzing financial results, distilling/synthesizing key trends and helping build presentations with key business insights for senior leadership
  • Other ad-hoc projects or activities to provide FP&A support
  • Propose business operational improvements to enhance financial visibility, control, and planning effectiveness

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 years of related experience required
  • Strong analytical skills for developing complex financial models
  • Experience in business partnering and executive presentations
  • Passionate, accountable, self-motivated, and independent worker
  • Strong organizational, communication, and influencing skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Systems experience in Oracle, Hyperion, Power BI, and business analytics a plus

Education:

  • BS/BA degree with 8+ years’ experience in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) and /or Business Finance, Strategy & Operations

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is $152K - $226K. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package.
