Job Summary

As a core member of the worldwide partner programs team you will develop, implement, and manage partner programs that support the Americas and worldwide partner strategy.  You will work with the partner and field sales organizations, partner marketing teams, finance, operations, and the partner community to define criteria, program architecture, business proposition, and supporting benefit programs.  In addition, you will assist with program launches and execution and assess program impact to address changing business needs and market dynamics.

The ideal candidate will have Americas partner experience.  You should have experience in building and managing cloud or software programs.  You should be a high energy, hands on, detailed-oriented individual who has successfully built and deployed partner programs.  Your objective is to help NetApp achieve the Americas geo business goals with innovative programs that strive to accelerate success and make NetApp easy to do business with.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for management and success of all the Americas partner programs – overarching Unified Partner Program, investment programs, deal registration, partner specializations, and promotional campaigns
Help define the overall partner value-proposition for all programs.
Ensure partner programs align with the Americas strategy, requirements, competition, industry best practices, key initiatives,
Provide input to improve systems, process, collateral, financial, compliance, program ROI
Assist in the creation of investments for strategic partners
Develop and deploy best practices for partner program expansion to support key initiatives
Manage programs through all phases of the development cycle; from analysis and design through implementation, execution, tracking and evaluating success, continuous improvements, end of life
Interface with Finance and Legal to maintain compliance requirements
Build rapport with key partner stakeholders: effectively communicate key messages and the value of programs
Work closely with cross functional sales and marketing teams to align program goals with business requirements
Work with partner operations to effectively manage programs and ensure delivery of necessary infrastructure/system changes to support program requirements 
Work closely with Americas partner marketing and communications team to define program launch requirements and support the development and execution of launch plans and materials
Track and report results
Travel approximately 20%-30%

Job Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate at an executive level
Strong presentation skills
Excellent people and interpersonal skills
Thorough understanding on the technology sector partner ecosystem and all routes to market
Fundamental understanding of financial accounting and budgeting
Subject matter expert in high-tech markets and routes to market
Demonstrated sales and marketing skills for impactful program development and a clear track record of executing programs with a clear return-on-investment
Proven ability to management programs end-to-end from launch to termination
Strong influencer skills
Highly self-motivated, able to work in an independent environment, able to manage multiple tasks and projects, detail oriented and capable of excellent follow through 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education

Foundational Education & Experience:
•    Bachelor’s Degree
•    A minimum of 7 years of high technology reseller and service partner programs experience 


Recommended Education & Experience:

•    Master’s Degree in Business Administration
•    Direct / Channels Sales and / or Business Development

Colorado Residents Only: If the Company determines this role will be performed in Colorado, the starting salary for this position is  (.9 compa*). This role could be eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), Company bonus, Employee stock purchase plan, and restricted stocks (RSU’s) *. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors such as location, qualifications, certifications, relevant work experience and other factors, consistent with applicable law.
