Job Summary
As a NetApp Solutions Engineer (SE) within the U.S. Public Sector Civilian Team, supporting U.S. Veterans Affairs, you will leverage your technical expertise and business insight to design and implement data-driven solutions that promote federal healthcare objectives for the veteran community. You will collaborate closely with value-added resellers, clients, and internal NetApp teams to strategically position NetApp’s Intelligent Data Infrastructure across multifaceted, multi-domain initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Collaborate with account executives and resellers to formulate technical strategies that broaden NetApp’s reach and impact within various programs and agencies.
- Design and architect hybrid multi-cloud solutions integrating NetApp technologies with ecosystem partners, aligning with customer mission objectives.
- Provide guidance and work closely with account teams and technical specialists to effectively leverage NetApp and partner resources.
- Engage with customers through demonstrations and proofs of concept, supporting solution validation and adoption processes.
- Establish trusted relationships with customer engineering, program management, and key technical stakeholders, clearly articulating the business and mission value of NetApp solutions.
- Represent NetApp at industry events, partner briefings, and customer meetings, both onsite and virtually.
- Offer technical mentorship to peers and support strategic initiatives and capture efforts for significant Veteran Community missions.

Education & Experience
- Experience architecting or operating enterprise data infrastructure, including storage, cloud, and data management platforms.
- Expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Resiliency, Data Security, and IT Automation/Orchestration.
- Proven experience building on-premises and hybrid multi-cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and/or classified environments.
- Familiarity with Federal Systems Integrators, contract capture cycles, and program delivery models.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust across technical and business stakeholders.
- Typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience).
- U.S. citizenship required; active Security Clearance preferred.
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 193,800 - 250,800 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings’ (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off, various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s).
