Job Summary

As a NetApp Solutions Engineer (SE) within the U.S. Public Sector Civilian Team, supporting U.S. Veterans Affairs, you will leverage your technical expertise and business insight to design and implement data-driven solutions that promote federal healthcare objectives for the veteran community. You will collaborate closely with value-added resellers, clients, and internal NetApp teams to strategically position NetApp’s Intelligent Data Infrastructure across multifaceted, multi-domain initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Collaborate with account executives and resellers to formulate technical strategies that broaden NetApp’s reach and impact within various programs and agencies.
• Design and architect hybrid multi-cloud solutions integrating NetApp technologies with ecosystem partners, aligning with customer mission objectives.
• Provide guidance and work closely with account teams and technical specialists to effectively leverage NetApp and partner resources.
• Engage with customers through demonstrations and proofs of concept, supporting solution validation and adoption processes.
• Establish trusted relationships with customer engineering, program management, and key technical stakeholders, clearly articulating the business and mission value of NetApp solutions.
• Represent NetApp at industry events, partner briefings, and customer meetings, both onsite and virtually.
• Offer technical mentorship to peers and support strategic initiatives and capture efforts for significant Veteran Community missions.

Education & Experience

• Experience architecting or operating enterprise data infrastructure, including storage, cloud, and data management platforms.
• Expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Resiliency, Data Security, and IT Automation/Orchestration.
• Proven experience building on-premises and hybrid multi-cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and/or classified environments.
• Familiarity with Federal Systems Integrators, contract capture cycles, and program delivery models.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust across technical and business stakeholders.
• Typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience).
• U.S. citizenship required; active Security Clearance preferred.
