Job Summary

Analyst Relations and Communications Manager, APAC is responsible for developing and executing NetApp’s communications strategy. He or she supports executive leadership on public and analyst relations with additional responsibilities for internal and executive communications, executive-level social eminence, and corporate brand strategy functions.

Job Requirements

Essential Functions:

  • Set measurable objectives for the APAC communications function which span both AR and PR measurements, executive-level social eminence and internal communications.
  • Craft and design an annual APAC Communications Strategy and refine quarterly based on local requirements; while maintaining alignment with corporate strategy and mission. Ensure APAC Communication strategy is built with input and guidance from APAC Marketing and Communications Leader and members of the Global Communications team to ensure alignment.
  • Support corporate media/public relations and analyst/ influencer relations efforts. Set the annual agenda for AR/PR efforts with influencers and drive the programmatic rollout of strategy across the region; incliding ownership and management of the Analyst briefing process.
  • Manage local PR agency relationships.; and ensure continuous Media Releases on newsworthy items specific to NetApp winning in the APAC market. 
  • Support internal communications/internal marketing/ change management through strategy and resource allocation
  • Oversee communications measurement, including the design and operation of relevant dashboards and reports  
  • Implement key communications policies, protocols and guidelines

Education & Experience:

  • 8 or more years in corporate communications or related experience
  • Hands-on corporate public relations experience, ideally within the same or similar industry
  • Implementation and management of global brand guidelines
  • Management of communications to multiple complex stakeholder groups at a local, regional, national and international scale
  • Selection and oversight of traditional and social communications agencies
  • Management of budget and resource allocation to support success and efficiency
  • Previous demonstrated linkage of communications efforts to an organization’s broader campaign plan
  • Knowledge of Social media tools and sites, Media monitoring best practices, Survey/interview question development best practices, Analyst and vendor briefing best practices, Coaching and Budget allocation principle
