Position
As the Vice President Chief Technologist Officer for the APJ&I regions at NetApp, you will play a critical role in driving technology strategy, sales execution, and business growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Solution Engineering, Account Technology Strategists, Partner Technical Leads, Sales and Marketing, Global Segment leaders, and Sales Operations, to bring our innovative solutions to market and achieve revenue targets. Your passion for technology, strategic thinking, and expertise in IT technology development will be essential. You will lead by example, fostering a winning culture and an environment where individuals are driven to do great things. You will serve as a thought leader and visionary, leveraging your deep understanding of the IT industry to identify emerging trends, evaluate market opportunities, and develop innovative strategies.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Solution Engineering teams, Account Technology Strategists, and Partner Technical Leads at the
- Area level to drive successful sales plays and achieve revenue targets.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing, Global Segment leaders, and Sales Operations to bring sales plays to
- execution, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and regional market needs.
- Support Area, Segment, and Country leaders in developing pipeline creation and progression plans aligned with
- targets, Global Sales Plays, market potential, and local customer base and maturity.
- Serve as a strategic thinker, providing visionary technology leadership for the APJ&I regions.
- Leverage expertise in IT technology development to identify emerging trends, evaluate market opportunities,
- and develop innovative strategies to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure that NetApp's technological strength and portfolio are effectively
- communicated and leveraged to engage the employee population and propel energy in the market.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the organization, working closely with cross-functional
- teams to drive successful outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and regional leadership to align strategies, priorities, and
- execution plans.
- Act as a key liaison between regional teams and global headquarters, providing valuable insights and feedback
- to inform corporate strategies.
- Demonstrate a passion for technology and a deep understanding of IT technology development, with proven
- experience in sales organizations.
- Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise on emerging trends, industry best practices, and
- competitive landscapes.
- Stay up-to-date with market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive positioning, ensuring NetApp
- maintains a competitive edge in the market.
