ETS plays a pivotal role in empowering NetApp’s engineering community, owning workflows from product inception to delivery, and supporting over 2,500 engineers across NetApp.

As a Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain tools powered by GenAI, driving efficiency across NetApp’s engineering ecosystem.

 

Essential Functions

  • Design, develop, and maintain tools leveraging GenAI technologies to enhance engineering workflows
  • Collaborate on development, testing, and debugging activities to ensure seamless tool functionality
  • Coding and unit testing
  • Debugging and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate proactively
  • Willingness and right attitude to learn new skills  

Job Requirements

  • Go, Python
  • Familiarity with OO design, Web development, and Cloud APIs
  • Strong knowledge in data structures and standard programming practices
  • Experience in Linux Environment with containers (Docker & Kubernetes)
  • Strong oral and written communication is essential 
  • Creative analytical approach to problem solving 

Education

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 2 years of experience, or a Master’s Degree; or equivalent experience is required.

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 108,800 - 162,800 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
