At the start of the program, we will fly you to the United States to take part in our robust 90-day training program based in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. During this training, Academy participants gain the foundational knowledge needed to have a basic understanding of the Storage Industry, NetApp, and products and solutions. Additionally, they effectively develop transferable soft skills that will allow them to excel within the organization and in their long-term careers.
You will experience an exciting 3 months with Graduate peers from all over the world. Afterwards you will return to Ireland to start the on-the-job portion of your training

Job Responsibilities
As an Inside Sales Representative at NetApp, you will play a key role in driving new customer acquisition and growth. You’ll use outbound and inbound prospecting to engage prospects and existing customers through an omni-channel approach, to discover, qualify and understand their business challenges, and position NetApp’s hybrid cloud and data solutions to meet their needs. Working closely with our channel, marketing, and technical teams, you will build and manage your own pipeline, generate new opportunities, and contribute directly to NetApp’s success in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
- Drive customer and cross-selling acquisition through phone, email, and digital
outreach. - Prospect in and outbound, to drive new qualified pipeline, discover and qualify.
- Understand customer needs and clearly communicate NetApp’s value propositions
across 3-5 use cases. - Collaborate with the channel to deliver proposals.
- Generate new business through proactive prospecting, including cold calling and
targeted campaigns & social selling. - Support marketing initiatives such as events, webinars, and lead-generation campaigns.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and activity tracking in CRM
systems. - Work closely with sales, technical specialists, and channel teams to ensure a seamless
customer experience.
Requirements
- Recent graduate or early-career professional with up to 2 years of experience gained through internships, part-time work, university projects, or early-career roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, influence, and build relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Interest in developing a career in technology sales, business development, and pipeline generation within a B2B environment.
- Curiosity about cloud, AI, storage, and emerging technologies, with previous exposure through studies, projects, internships, or work experience being a plus.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable learning and using CRM systems, sales prospecting tools, and other technologies to support customer engagement and business growth.
- Fluent in English and one of the following additional languages: Danish, German, Norwegian or Swedish; able to work successfully in an international and collaborative environment.
