Werkstudent at NetApp

As a Werkstudent, based in our Stuttgart office, you will be part of a small experienced team. You will be responsible for software maintenance (which includes bug fixing, testing against new NetApp software versions) of a tool set. Collecting and monitoring storage performance data along with maintenance development of new features and capabilities. Employees, customers and partners use this free tool set and we provide a voluntary best effort support. 


Desired skills:
•    Software development on Linux
•    Programming languages: Perl (preferred), Shell, Python or similar
•    Linux installation and administration

Optional skills:
•    Maintaining virtual machines in VMware vCenter
•    Basic Skills in containers (docker)
•    NetApp Data ONTAP storage operating system
•    Graphite & Grafana open source tools 


Student profile
•    University student or equivalent (not yet graduated).
•    Fluent in English verbal and written (mandatory).
•    Good verbal and written German communication skills (preferred).
•    Currently enrolled as a Computer Science student at a German Univeristy.
•    You can work part-time as a student intern (‘’werkstudent’’).
•    Living in or near Stuttgart.

Your hours
You will be available for 16 hours on a weekly basis for a minimum of 6 months (Longer is preferred). Flexibility is possible!
