Job Summary

NetApp Business Systems Analysts work as part of a team that support and enhance NetApp’s world-wide business processes and systems. You are a thought leader in the design, integration and performance of business processes and the systems that support those processes. As a subject matter expert, you act in a lead role with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, and with IT development teams to provide solutions. An ability to understand complex business process issues and communicate technical solutions to the business and management is essential for your success in this role. A strong technical knowledge base and project management skills are required for this position. The technical scope is L2 Support for incidents, service requests, and change management for Quote to Invoice systems including Oracle R12, Oracle ERP 11i, and significant integrations with SFDC, SOA integration layer, external applications.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
- Provide leadership, oversight and technical and functional expertise to the Managed Service Providers who are responsible for providing L2 support for Quote to Invoice applications 
- Help lead the Quote to invoice service team to adopt a service management posture oriented around business strategy and processes
- Drive continual improvements to mean time between failures (MTBF) and mean time to restore (MTTR)
- Production Architecture / Infrastructure:
- Ensure that environment architecture and designs are supportable, and complexity is minimized
- Act as the expert in our production architecture 
- Identify and execute opportunities to realize increased operational stability and performance
- Problem Management:
- Actively work to ensure that for all significant or repeating issues, all root and contributing causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented to eliminate exposures in technology and process
- Identify recurring incidents of lesser priority and ensure root cause and corrective action activities to eliminate these exposures are driven to execution
- Incident Management:
- Provide leadership in service restoration during major incidents
- Ensure technical escalations of incidents that require more in-depth understanding of NetApp business and NetApp’s technology infrastructure are carefully managed to closure
- Project Management:
- Develop implementation and project plans to improve support processes
- Monitor and drive resolution of issues.
- Document and communicate status updates to team members and Management.
- Estimate resource requirement and determine IT impacted groups.
- Change Management:
- Develop change review procedures to ensure production changes are fully validated and risk of service degradation or impact after a change is fully mitigated in advance
- Ensure the cut over processes and deployment procedures are mature for a flawless production cutovers
- Co-ordinate root cause and release process improvements as necessary
- Partner with the Solutions and Delivery Teams and participate in the projects and enhancements activities to ensure that the solutions that they deliver are supportable in an effective and efficient manner
- Provide consulting help on functional and technical aspects of the applications to IT & business teams. Should be able to quickly understand and resolve technical challenges
- Review incident and problem resolution approaches for accuracy, appropriateness, efficiency, repeatability

Education

- A Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree required; Information Technology or related technical field is preferred. 
- Requires 10+ years of information technology experience of which at least 8 years mainly in Oracle E-Business experience with CPQ and ERP solutions as core, from a technical perspective
- Functional experience in the Quote to Invoice and Fulfillment processes 
- Core Competencies: 
* Technical: Oracle R12, WebLogic, Portal Architecture, Oracle ERP 11i or above
* Functional: CPQ, Order Management, Order Booking, Invoicing, B2B,
- Need a strong understanding of ITIL processes and familiarity with Service Management concepts. Certification is a strong plus
- Strong business partnership experience required, with proven track record of successfully managing the technical deliverables with onshore & offshore resources.
- Excellent knowledge and hands on experience in tools like WebLogic, perl, python.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills. 
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Desire to be in a highly challenging, fast pace environment with highly - innovative delivery partners
- Should be excellent in analytical skills and a continuous learner
