Job Summary

Key Points
A key leadership position in the NetApp Cloud Services Marketing Team
Leads Global Demand Gen strategy development and execution for all Cloud Services portfolio - defines the right tactics to use to reach target markets and audiences, defines KPI’s, articulates content needs and measures results of activities on regular and ongoing basis
Works with counterparts in regional Demand Centers & Field Marketing for planning and execution to ensure that activities align to goals and that we have defined integration points
Works with Digital Marketing Team to develop integrated Digital Marketing / Digital Experience plan
Works with Product Marketing to identify content and assets needs by persona, journey stage and tactic, based on target audience and segment
Supervises execution across a staff of Integrated Marketing Managers, Content Specialists, Event Specialists and Lead Managers.
Creates reports and uses date to drive cross function discussions on campaign effectiveness

Job Summary
The Director of Demand Generation for NetApp’s Cloud Services business will be responsible for developing and managing demand generation strategies and campaigns to reach and engage target audiences, create interest, generate leads and produce revenue opportunities.  The position is responsible for the development and execution of Demand Generation activities in support of our global Marketing programs, and aligns strategies and tactics to Regional Demand Centers and Field Marketing.  The Director of Demand Generation uses data and metrics to set program goals and measures impact and results on a regular cadence. 



Develop and implement high impact, multi-channel demand generation programs in order to meet marketable-audience, suspect, prospect, trial, subscriber and ultimately, revenue targets 
Align budget and resource availability with demand gen and revenue goals
Drive continuous performance improvement through the identification, documentation, promotion, and implementation of demand and revenue creation best practices 
Implement best practices in database management to increase data integrity 
Develop and deploy marketing database strategy that grows Marketable Audience through organic growth and tactical purchases 
Develop and strategically align campaigns with our go-to-market priorities, Cloud Services portfolio and partnerships, vertical segmentation, target audiences, personas and their business challenges

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience driving demand and revenue programs in technology markets
    Significant experience working in high-growth Cloud/SaaS businesses
    Experience in storage industry preferred
    Subject matter expert in Marketing Automation technologies
    Subject matter expert in driving the prospect/user experience in Cloud/SaaS environments
