Job Summary

As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner you work with senior management and NetApp staff to define and execute HR Strategies in support of business objectives. You implement defined strategies at the business unit or division level by developing integrated HR plans. The role will focus on specific areas of expertise and provide broad-based HR support and leadership to NetApp's global G&A organization and geographic regions.

Essential Functions:

• Strategic Business Partner: Catalyst and process facilitator for the creation of business strategies.  Tap into internal and external networks to identify macro trends affecting organization.

• Change Leader: Anticipate the need for change and influence change before a crisis or inflection point arrives. Develop own vision for the future of the business; set the change direction by influencing others to take action toward a new future. Consciously strive to build networks of support for change goals and objectives.

• Consultant: See and clearly articulate the root cause of poor organization performance. Influence the thinking and actions of the Senior Management Team. Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and educate and involve them in HR initiatives and programs.

• Organizational Developer: Focus on building organization capability for competitive advantage. Make leadership supply and organization transformation a business priority and capability.  Design/redesign, build, and transform the organization around strategic objectives.

• HR Expert: Apply experience in a broad range of HR technical areas (talent management, total compensation, leadership bench strength, organization design, etc.) Design and implement HR solutions to achieve business success and enhance organizational capability. Leverage and align services across the HR system and external partners to ensure end-to-end HR service delivery.

• Talent Strategy:  Assess the business's current and future talent needs.  Build and act on workforce plan.  Cultivate the next generation of leaders.

• Data and Analytics:  Translate key business objectives into dense set of metrics.  Leverage self-service tools and resources to monitor relevant metrics and data.  Construct and communicate the narritive behind the data in a way that drives informed decisions.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex and difficult issues.

  • Ability to understand new processes and tools quickly 

• Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas.

• Use judgment that is in consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law.

• Excellent planning and organization skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

• Demonstrated project and time management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, and Excel).

• Experience working with HR databases (SAP Success Factors), analytics tools (Vizier and Excel) to analyze people-related data

• Strong and proven analytical skills.

Education

• A minimum of 15+ years of experience is required.

• A Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree is required, or equivalent experience.

• Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, extremely complex technical projects.
