Title:  Operations Enterprise Supplier Programs Manager

Job Summary

As a Program Manager responsible for Enterprise Supplier Programs you will be part of a team of professionals who, support, plan, execute, and improve enterprise supplier management programs including Risk, Diversity, Conflict Minerals, Social & Corporate Responsibility and process improvement initiatives within the global direct & indirect procurement environment. As a subject matter expert, you will utilize your strong program management and procurement/operations knowledge to contribute to the department’s goals. Strong project management and communication skills, along with strong command over procurement processes are key to success in this role.

Essential Functions:
Establish and manage NetApp Operations Supplier Programs in all aspects by identifying and quantifying risk (financial, security, business continuity, regulatory and reputational) and addressing NetApp requirements in conflict minerals, supplier diversity, corporate social responsibility.
Lead projects related to procurement systems and business processes.
Plan, and implement process improvement initiatives across the supply base
Survey and analyze best practices
Align improvement to performance shortfalls
Organize, lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams.
Determine project cost, resource requirement, and project timing based on scope and complexity of the project.
Develop metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities, measure performance against process requirements

Job Requirements

Strong working experience in overall ESRM development and implementation, including:
Risk management of the overall supply chain (direct & indirect)
Supplier performance & cost management processes
360 views and operational improvement programs for supply base
Supplier responsibility, sustainability, compliance management programs
Strong experience in overall procurement process cycle (analyze, develop, go-to market, contract, buy, manage)
Excellent oral and written communication skills; including process documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, task and project management, and organizational skills.
Experience working on complex global projects.
Strong technical background with advanced personal computer skills including: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
Sound understanding of procurement tools including Ariba Sourcing, Contracting, Procurement Content, P2O, Oracle iProcurement, Tableau (Working knowledge of Ariba applications a plus)
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to support delivery scope & deadlines.
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks concurrently.

The tasks this individual is responsible for are often unstructured, have wide implications and there are multiple outcomes.
This individual will apply broad expertise or unique technical/industry knowledge in solving problems that are unique and extremely complex given time, budget and resource constraints.
Demonstrate leadership and vision in determining and driving strategy decisions.
Interaction:
This individual must work effectively with staff to Vice President level employees within the function, across functions and with external parties.
Limited supervision is needed, as this individual can operate, drive results, and set priorities independently.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert.
To be successful, this individual must demonstrate favorable results through leadership and influencing multiple individuals and groups.
Often acts as mentor or facilitator.

Education

A minimum of 10 years of experience is required.
A Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree is required, or equivalent experience.
An MBA is not required but preferred
Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex operations projects.
