Title:  Sales Analyst

Job Summary

  • Clear understanding and ability to manage, maintain, and propose improvements to a WW sales forecast process
  • Work closely with field sales, finance, operations, sales operations on key pipeline and forecast performance indicators on a regular and adhoc basis including but not limited to:
    • Pipeline and top deals analysis
    • Business insights into product sales and demand on specific products
    • Forecast accuracy and bookings attainment
  • Subject matter expert in the CRM reporting space and Anaplan forecasting tool with the ability to provide forecast process and tools support to the field
  • Prepare and manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting for sales leadership
  • Prepare and develop tools to allow deeper analysis of NetApp’s business – especially where new trends are emerging
  • Participate in maintaining, testing, and proposing enhancements to NetApp’s sales tools and processes

Job Requirements

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well with the Field and with NetApp Administration teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively and act in a lead role as a subject matter expert to meet aggressive goals and short timeframes
  • Professionally curious, proactive and the willing to go the extra mile to determine better analysis and reporting
  • Strong skills in using data to analyze and investigate business issues
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines under pressure with competing and changing priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to take data and turn it into compelling business information and metrics that is used to drive data supported decision making.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience with Tableau is a plus

Education

Requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience.
