Job Summary

The WW Partner Communications Manager will be responsible for managing internal and external communications supporting NetApp’s channel business.   This role will be responsible for leading the communication integration and execution of corporate campaigns and channel marketing programs including incentives/promotions, launches/announcements, enablement and training.  This role will participate in the development of channel communication plans and assets to ensure global alignment of messaging and strategies to drive impactful results and business outcomes.  

Key responsibilities for this position include:

⦁    Develop global plans for timely, effective and consistent communications
⦁    Strategic Communication Planning: Determine the appropriate partner communications strategy for campaigns and programs ensuring alignment between worldwide stakeholders (Channel Programs and Enablement, Product Marketing, Sales, Training). 
⦁    Product Launch/Announcement Communication Strategy & Planning: Drive planning and execution of product launches and campaign refreshes across the global Partner teams. Ensure timely and effective Partner-led communications. 
⦁    Develop Global-ready internal and external marketing communication plans for key channel initiatives, campaigns, and product/solution introductions and announcements
⦁    Maintain and monitor master calendar and roadmap for channel internal and external communications; alignment to Product & Solution GTM Roadmap
⦁    Alignment with various corporate functional teams such as, Brand, Digital, Product & Solutions, Field Marketing/Global Channel functional teams 
⦁    Measuring and tracking impact of communication plans and programs
⦁    Partner with Channel Enablement and Training teams for communication integration and cadence consistency
⦁    Field Portal content uploading and monitoring of campaign tools and resources    
⦁    Manage localization of communication assets and content for launches/announcements and programs
⦁    Document and support best-practices on partner communication process, governance and cadence
⦁    Develop communication copy/insertions in support of internal and external partner communication vehicles including:
⦁    Newsletters
⦁    Social platforms
⦁    Digital (eDM, Partner Field Portal) 
⦁    Launches/Announcements
⦁    PR/AR alignment  

Job Requirements


⦁    Bachelor's degree; 7+ years of communications experience managing execution of campaigns and programs  
⦁    Experience in the use of analytics to measure and analyze communication impact
⦁    Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a highly matrixed, globally dispersed organization
⦁    Ability to manage vendors and 3rd party partners on project
⦁    Excellent verbal and written communications skills; especially writing skills
⦁    Expertise of communications development across all mediums (print, online, web).
⦁    Excellent program management ability to documenting progress and communicating result.
⦁    Ability to optimize communication design and story/messaging to drive impactful results and business outcomes
⦁    Strong influential and decision-making skills


Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
