Job Summary

NetApp has a Partner first strategy to accelerate growth over market rates and driving the behavior of our Partners is critical. The Global Channel GTM & Programs team plays a critical role in ensuring the success against NetApp’s 3 key imperatives with our 3 business units, by expanding current and acquiring new Channel partners to drive and sell NetApp’s portfolio to their customers in support of their data storage and transformation challenges. Working directly for the Head of Global Partner GTM & Programs you will be responsible to develop and deliver a global partner investment and recognition framework to advance the overall partner strategy with solution providers, integrators and service providers across the world. Building on NetApp’s market leading Unified Partner Program you will ensure that the program continues to stay ahead of the market, drives partner alignment to key imperatives, maintains a high level of partner commitment and demonstrates clear and measurable impact on the business and partner satisfaction. With your team of Geo and Corporate-based program managers you will partner with stakeholders across the company and world to capture, analyze and action channel partner sentiment, while being fully empowered to drive improvements.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Continue to evolve the NetApp Unified Partner program to drive partner preference towards NetApp with existing and new technologies.

• Develop, maintain and execute Channel Partner program incentive documents (such as MDF, funded heads, growth programs rebates, etc.) to clearly identify the benefits, terms & conditions and rules of engagement with a focus on continuous process improvement.

• Own the relationship with third-party channel incentive vendors and consultants including creation of the incentive program and implementation.

• Incentive automation platform management – manage all aspects of vendor relationship, become in-house incentive automation platform SME and go-to source for internal stakeholders.

• Create, implement, manage, and report on all channel incentive programs and benefits to ensure complete transparency and value to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Partner with Channel Marketing, Partner Executive Leaders, Sales and business units regarding the application of program rewards and benefits.

• Act as the focal point for global channel incentive initiatives • Work with legal and internal audit to ensure program compliance(privacy, security and financial compliance).
• Work closely with finance and legal to develop and evolve financial incentives, program budgets and legal agreement structures.

• Internal Communications - develop and execute communication strategy/plan for raising and maintaining good internal awareness of the partner program, progress, success stories etc. both with the Management team and the wider organization.

Job Requirements

• Clear track record of delivering innovative global incentive program (reseller, referral, distribution, etc.) initiatives at scale.

• Clear track record of managing complex projects and programs while demonstrating exceptional business judgement.

• Proven ability to get the best from team members located internationally.

• Proven ability to lead, navigate and manage complex internal Vendor relationships.

Scope of Role

• This is a Global role based out of North America.

• Approximately 20% travel including international.

Education

• 7+ years of experience in Operations, Partner Management, Incentives, Finance, or Program Management.

• 5+ years of large-scale program management experience; preferably working with the largest global technology, software and services vendors.

BS/BA degree or equivalent related experience.
